What Rip Curl is/was up to in Chile Part One and Part Two. They spent millions to put on the event last year and couldn’t kick down 30k to the locals. Boy was I wrong.

Think Baja violence is confined to TJ? Yeah, I did too. I stopped 6 hours south in El Rosario for tacos last Friday, on Saturday there was a drive by shooting at the La Mijita loncheia. La Mijita is popular with locals and gringos and by all accounts was run by generous people. The targets were 3 'self employeed' area men, but the husband and wife owners were hit by stray bullets. The wife just passed away.
