Tinkler Tail?
Ok, this is pretty crazy. Its called the tinkler tail. The idea is to store energy in the springs during a turn, and release it coming out of the turn. There is a dial, (maybe 3 of them, I couldn’t tell) that allows you to dial in different rates of compression. Wild. Must be a production nightmare.
He needs a new name for this thing though. Tinkler is much to close to tinkle. Maybe the aussies don’t tell their daughters to go ‘tinkle’ though.

Not so crazy if you realy do understand flex tech in stand up surfboards and the TinklerTails long history as the only leader after Greenough’s flexspoon concept in the field and Tinkler was first to prove it could be done in surfboards starting from George Greenoughs basic flex kneeboard Velo concept of flex. Thats If you read and know your flex history. TinkleTails wrote the book on Flex in stand up surfboards and all that you now see and hear about flex designs from the young shapers are all jonny cume latly in flex stand up surfing . If you Just do the true History recerch on TinklerTails the real design leader in flex and the first to solve the cross over flex problems and make flextails work standing up. PSS the digg about Tinkler’s family name is pritty petty for a pedantic person on flex Tails like your self….. lock up PEDANTIC. iT IS mUCH BEttER TO bE cALLED TINKLER THAN PEDANTIC. for sure.

I am so Sorry that was pretty petty of me too, about the tinkle thing. And Pedantic comment. But, flex Reach is key to the real flex history in who did what and when it was done to make flex work in stand up surfboards. Starting from George Greenough’s original breakthrough flex spoon concept, that started it for all of us in the sport. with Mr. George G, McTavish, Nat Young, Wayne Lynch, Terry Fitz , Skip Frye in the short board revolution of the past, But now the “CustomFlexPowerRevolution” is on its way.
PS re: molding a TTailG4 Custom FlexTail is cheaper and easy for the man who invented the design and is the customflex specialist in its construction who best to build a TTail than Mr. TTail. “ INVENTION IS THE MOTHER OF DEMAND ” But the TTailG4CustomFlex Revolution mite be to successful for the world market place, when you really think about it, what will all the non custom flex AND stiff board designs out there do??? Oh yes they can buy and be a customTTail mfg licensee form Tinkler to make their own shapes into customflex too. That would be the best and honest way for the shapers and designers IN THE surfboard industry to deal with designing progress and respect intellectual property, unless you’re Chinese?? And don’t appreciate all the inventor’s work and R&D expenses that makes designing progress possible in surfing equipment. the surfers should have a choice in performance by tuning their own boards tail .
