JP is like the Godfather of the intertubes to boardmakers and bros. One transgression against the faithful and someone at Transworld receives a newspaper wrapped package dripping polishing compound. The message? Justin Cote sleeps with the fishes.

Grocery stores like Giant Food and WholeFoods are starting to refuse to sell seafood who's stocks are depleted like Orange Roughy, Shark and Chilean Seabass until their populations rebound.

I just heard a sweet rumor that Mateo and Britney of San Juanico scored a record contract with a label out of Japan. They might bee there a while... Matt has a sheaf of songs 2 inches thick that goes back 10 years. Anybody know what the label is or have more details?

Holy shit. One of the guys from WEND magazine is going to go 3 months without consuming ANYTHING that has 1 time use plastic associated with it... No coffee lids, cellophane wrapped anything, packaging, salsa containers, yogurt, straws, dish soap containers, toothpaste, etc.

CJ Kanuha is desperate for money. So desperate in fact, that he tried to standup surf a wave generated by falling lava. Taken alone, that might just have been some ballsy playing around, but it's pretty clear from the fact that he and a photographer payed for a helicopter so they photograph it, that it's a big publicity stunt. From the photos it looks like all he got from the effort was melted wax and burned shins. Hilarious.
