Some bros and I are selling boards at a “multi bro” surfboard sale in Cardiff By The Sea…
I’ll be selling:
6′1 x 19(.5?)” MR Super Twin
Was a pro’s board, bought out of catalist in SC. Fun board, goes well, no dings, no fins, too big for me. $250
Also, these 4 boards which each have an unsightly and improperly fixed or two. I cant fix them pre sale because I’m in North Carolina until the day of the sale, but I’ve discounted the price so you can have them professionally repaired.
5′10″ Album Quad
Board is beautiful with one ding on the nose that’s been Solorezed. $300
7′2 Kies Funboard
Was Maggie’s and got beat up a bit around a fin (I’ll admit it, I dropped it.). Board is watertight, but the fix wasn’t pretty. $300
9′ 10″ Dano Noserider Model
Its got a few small solorezed dings which don’t count because they were acquired at Scorpion Bay and an open rash up at the nose. Fun noserider less than a year old 525$, new over $1000.
6′2″ x 18 3/4 x 2 3/16 KMRP (Keith Malloy Round Pin) Patagonia Thruster
GREAT board, but to thin for me. I’m a growing boy, er…. man, actually “fat ass”, might be more appropriate. I swear by these boards and am going to be using proceeds from this sale to get a 6′3″ or 6′4″ in this same model.

Er, ahem! I began use of the term smorgasboarder more than a few weeks ago as can be seen on my blog. I must claim that I am the genius of origination and therefore must be given one wave out of every set to roll through at any San Diego County surf break. You’ll recognize me by my kooky style and slightly disfigured bottom-turn. Carry on!

Sorry bro, im sure you are very smart but no genius… pretty sure you didnt come up with Smorgasboarder a couple weeks ago because i first heard Beau Young say it in the surf movie “Hang” back in 2004. You now owe us all your waves!! See you Saturday!!!

Weirder and weirder - I had the urge to use smorgasbord in a recent post - it will be on T shirts soon … some keen prices there dude (at least compared to the UK) - hope they found a good home.
