Seafoam Stoke
Generally, I’d just link to Pinniped original post but I’ve replayed this video so many times now, I feel I have to have it on the blog.
The film for clip is about Sea Surfboards, whom I’ve linked to many times. Be sure to check out “the sea word” and the gallery.
It’s from a flick called “Little Black Wheels”, but all I can find on the web about it is here and it’s not much. Anyone have a link?
I’m really digging the style of the first surfer, Johnny Abegg. From what I can tell he’s is/was a sponsorless journeyman WQS guy, maxing out the credit cards to make a run at the WQS. Seems he’s filmed it all and titled it appropriately…On Credit. It won’t be fun paying those off over the next 8 years.
The song is “The Stars Are All Stoned” by Dane Tucquet (myspace). Half the times I’ve replayed the video were to hear the song. This took me forever to find, but you can preview and buy all the songs on his album here. I wouldn’t use the site. I payed for that song, and they won’t give it to me. UPDATE: Got it. It just took some extra communication between servers, cause the internet pipes to Australia are so long.

abegg is from lennox head as far as i know. is sensational to watch out the point. the seacell mob are trading on the byron ‘renaissance’, the ’soul’ to the gold coast ‘buy’. all the same industry though. they all take it all very seriously, to make some coin. but going for a slide needn’t be serious, as you know. but each to their own.
