The Canadian Coast Guard confiscated the Sea Shepherd ship for actions against the Canadian seal fishery. Whoops.

Guess who :)
In Canada it is illegal to film, photograph or even witness a seal being killed without permission from their Minister of Fisheries. The issue is really heated and divisive within Canada. The Seal claim (like the Japanese about their whale hunt) that it preserves a cultural heritage, what they don’t like to talk about is the fact that the Canadians (like the us) killed most of the indigenous people and this hunt is executed by white Canadians for profit.
It’s not clear what is going to happen to the ship or the remaining crew members who are currently on a hunger strike. I’m pretty sure the $100 I sent from the board sale is not gonna be enough to get their ship back.
