Push, via Patch

Over at the surfer/illustration blog Patchies Hideout, Patch has illustrated a few surf bloggers. ResinTint and Warm Jet (blogs you should know) are represented, but my favorite illustration is Push:

I’ve got this deep curiosity about who Pushing Tide is. I dig his wordsmith approach to blogging, his nearly lyrical posts. I dig his dawn patrol ninja vibe… operating alone, riding the waves that would have gone un-ridden. I imagine that if surfing was this important thing that had to be done to keep the world safe, Pushing Tide would be out there at those insane hours… for the rest of us.

All the links seem to work pretty well for me on this one. At least, non of them were bashing luke skywalker. I added one to the image, which should have been there in case that’s what you meant.

  3. Pushing Tide Says:

Thanks for the words 70, I just try to lay low and surf lots.

    Patch is a talented man!

Patchies artwork and blog are great. He’s also one mellow fellow in the line-up at the Bu.
