Great graphic comparing Gustav with Katrina. What caught my eye though, was the map of oil rigs and piplines in the area. (Click on the Oil Rigs checkbox in the upper right) It’s absolutely out of control.

God Went Surfing With The Devil, a movie about Israeli and Palestinian surfers seems appropriate this week. Found on the erBB, where I found this quote by GWS "If these kids are going to have any chance of peace, they're going to have to tell their parents/establishment/organized religion to fark off."

Rasta got one of the Grain Surfboard guys to fly out and help him build a board in front of Pipe. I bet whoever got that email at Grain promptly deleted it, bought a plane ticket and told his partner he was going out for a sandwich.
