The Upsetters - 14 Dub Blackboard Jungle -
One of the first dub albums to surface from the mega watt depths deep inside Jamaica circa 74. Originally released in a batch of 300 LPs, now available at your finger tips remastered and restored. If you don't have this, do yourself a favor and jump into the abyss.

That seems kind of presumptuous and weird to me…
Don’t know why…
Maybe my Mexican heritage…
Don’t like the gringo interviewer…
Despite the seemingly innocuous inquiry.

i think it depends on the spot and the local surf culture around that spot. all spots are different, ones that have a larger influx of visitors with locals living close-by are the spots where gringos are less welcome. you can guess which ones those are.
Over all though, i think it’s all about the local surf culture and the gringo’s skill level and manners.
