Goodwill Tour Fiasco

The Surfline Goodwill Tour Fiasco keeps getting worse. In addition to the Puerto girls who were on the wrong end of rocks thrown from the cliffs, Australian surfers were physically attacked by people working for the event. I’ve heard the same basic story from another source as well.

This is why the internet is so great. All the message boards are hammering this sham event with eye witness info.

More from the Wend Blog... An Oregon surfer was run over by a powerboat, which severed his arm. As if the risk of shark attacks up there wasn't enough!

Holy shit. One of the guys from WEND magazine is going to go 3 months without consuming ANYTHING that has 1 time use plastic associated with it... No coffee lids, cellophane wrapped anything, packaging, salsa containers, yogurt, straws, dish soap containers, toothpaste, etc.

CJ Kanuha is desperate for money. So desperate in fact, that he tried to standup surf a wave generated by falling lava. Taken alone, that might just have been some ballsy playing around, but it's pretty clear from the fact that he and a photographer payed for a helicopter so they photograph it, that it's a big publicity stunt. From the photos it looks like all he got from the effort was melted wax and burned shins. Hilarious.
