Flights
I look around on the net every now and then, hoping to find a 300$ roundtrip to Costa, or a 200$ deal to Oahu. I gotta think though, that there is an easier way to find deals on flights than randomly sampling Travelocity or Orbitz or the airlines themselves. So my question to you is, what sites or services do you use to find cheap flights?

the ones you’ve mentioned are actually the most expensive ones
www.cheaptickets.com
www.cheapoair.com
www.travelation.com
you can compare at www.kayak.com and as someone mentioned travelzoo gives you a good comparision as well.
I usually check this ones for internationa flights to europe but even these operators buy from the main companies some as charter flights…..sometimes before going ahead I doungle check with the operators ( when it appears the company you are flying with from these webs) and if they have lowest rate warranty, you can but directly from AA, UA, etcetc without paying a comission fee.
It sucks but flighing cheap these days, with the fucking fuel surchages, ( sometimes hidden in the booking till the last step) and all this crap…flying ” afordable” ( not cheap)…it’s an art.
good luck!
If you find something to oahu let me know….I am fed up with the Tico power….been already there.
thanks

I’ve tried farecast, and I really like the concept, but without international airports its not as useful as it could be.
KAYAK on the other hand is how searching for flights aught to be! So simple, there aren’t thousands of ads all over the place, its quick, and even jumped over the boarder to TJ and found the cheapest flight to Costa over there at 442$
When I went back, it remembered my last search origin airport and displayed some cheap fares leaving from SAN. Pretty sweet.

Just hit up the Hawaiian Air website ALL the time - there are unreal deals all the time, but usually only a couple of seats per flight at the super cheap price. Whenever they release a few more cheap seats they get snatched up fast, but if you are flexible in your travel times/dates, and check the site alot you can always go to Hawaii for 2-3 hundo!
