EPS on the WCT

Stretch has a really wild take on why pros aren’t riding EPS boards:

“Those guys get so many boards for free, who can afford to give them epoxy boards? They’re really expensive to build. The materials are more expensive; the glue is almost twice as much. Plus, I can get a PU blank for 65 bucks and it costs me 110 dollars for an EPS. So if you’re a sponsor and your WCT guy wants 50 boards, do the math. You just spent an extra 15,000 dollars to use epoxy. So basically everyone builds those guys cheapo boards.”

AHEM... Attention JJR... The ridges on the front of a Humpback whale's fins increase maneuverability, improve lift force and increase stall angle. The discovery has lead to serrated fan blades that use 20% less energy. I expect to be testing your first prototype within the week.

The Surfilmfetibal in San Sebastian (12-15th of Junio) has been running for 6 years. San Sebastian is definately one of my favorite towns in Europe, but I'd go just to put some sound to these band names: "Delorean" and "Los Tiki Phantoms".

The TCA isn't done with their toll road through Trestles yet. They've successfully appealed to the US Fish And Wildlife Service to reject the findings of the Coastal Commission. There is some insight into how the agency has been infiltrated by capitalistic pigs on the erBB. Keep fighting.
