Elephants Aren’t Related To Surf. At All.

This might be the 2nd or 3rd non surf related post I’ve made on 70. It might make you gag. It might be unsafe for work. It might cause young children to cry and then develop a phobia of elephants. It might cause you to break out into uncontrollable fits of laughter which alternate with uncontrollable fits of screaming the words “Holy Shit!“

Grocery stores like Giant Food and WholeFoods are starting to refuse to sell seafood who's stocks are depleted like Orange Roughy, Shark and Chilean Seabass until their populations rebound.

Holy shit. One of the guys from WEND magazine is going to go 3 months without consuming ANYTHING that has 1 time use plastic associated with it... No coffee lids, cellophane wrapped anything, packaging, salsa containers, yogurt, straws, dish soap containers, toothpaste, etc.

CJ Kanuha is desperate for money. So desperate in fact, that he tried to standup surf a wave generated by falling lava. Taken alone, that might just have been some ballsy playing around, but it's pretty clear from the fact that he and a photographer payed for a helicopter so they photograph it, that it's a big publicity stunt. From the photos it looks like all he got from the effort was melted wax and burned shins. Hilarious.
