Cosmic Creek

I missed this event last Saturday, but there are great pics with audio narrative up at surfline. The thing I hate I missed most was the screening of a ruff cut of Hydrodynamica which has been in the making forever. A friend of mine saw it though, and assures me it’s great. Trailer at http://www.hydrodynamica.com, a warning though, the site only works in IE on a PC.

A SUPer got his finger chopped off at Cardiff Reef this morning. The locals there can be really gnarley, just so's you's know's.

A hard edge releases flow, a soft edge holds. Surfboard builders have known this forever. Why are car designers just now figuring this out?

Rasta got one of the Grain Surfboard guys to fly out and help him build a board in front of Pipe. I bet whoever got that email at Grain promptly deleted it, bought a plane ticket and told his partner he was going out for a sandwich.

I 2/3rds love how dusty Baja is. When I'm home I love it. When I first get where I'm going I still love it, the day I'm leaving, I'm not so stoked on it.
