The wind was minor, the swell was around waist high, and sprinkled among the SSBMs were a few talented groms, girls and oldguys stepping to nose.
On a decent day at the BU, an impressive board gallery enevitably develops along the walls. It was in effect Sunday as well as beautifull tints and pinlines decorated nose concaves, pin, diamond and square tails, 50/50 or downish rails and a stepdeck or two. My favorite? The koi tint Creme. There’s a flic in the slideshow somewhere. We stopped at Icons of Surf in San Clemente coming home and snapped pics of a couple of nice Creme LBs that will have to wait for another slideshow.

EDIT: I’ve got video too, just not sure when I’ll be able to get it up. Keep checking back.

I couldn’t be more excited. Maggie Marsek (the photographer who shot the fish fry for 70) has this great piece in the art auction, so if you are going, bid it up! The only thing I’m not sure about is what the invite ment by “semi-formal surf attire”.
