British Airways Board Ban - It Isn’t Over Yet

Rhona says: “…referring to your piece on the BA surfboard ban being reversed - I’m afraid this is not the case. It’s just a rumour that is sadly untrue. We’re hoping to meet with BA on Tuesday (the first day of the ban) to try and make them understand why this is something that they should reverse. ”

When are businesses and towns going to learn surfers contribute as much to a local economy as golfers, who’s clubs fly free?

Surfer’s revenge? British Airways gets a karmic kicking over the travel havoc its new London terminal has caused. One in the eye for the corporate giants that has a problem with surfboards. More here.

Think Baja violence is confined to TJ? Yeah, I did too. I stopped 6 hours south in El Rosario for tacos last Friday, on Saturday there was a drive by shooting at the La Mijita loncheia. La Mijita is popular with locals and gringos and by all accounts was run by generous people. The targets were 3 'self employeed' area men, but the husband and wife owners were hit by stray bullets. The wife just passed away.
